Going away? We board dogs and cats. Whether it's just overnight, or for a longer stay, you can leave your pet with us with confidence. You can feel assured that if there is ever a problem with your pet while you are away, Dr. Frantz and Dr. Riedel are readily available. If an ear infection flares up, or they develop diarrhea, with your permission we are willing to help.
All boarders are required to be up to date on vaccinations and testing. Dogs require DHLPP, bordetella, and rabies vaccines, as well as an annual heartworm test and fecal exam. Cats require FVRCP and rabies vaccines, as well as a current FELV/FIV test and fecal exam. These requirements are in place to minimize the risk of the spread of disease in our kennel. When your pet is staying with us, we want you to know that we are taking every precaution to prevent infectious disease transmission.
In general we feed Science Diet dog and cat food in the kennel. However, we are happy to feed any special diet your pet might require. Just bring it with you when you drop off your pet. Does Fido eat once a day, or 3 times a day? Let us know, and we'll do our best to continue the same schedule to minimize any disruption.
All pets get comfortable blankets to lie on. Dogs are walked at least 3 times a day. Large dogs are in spacious 3 by 10 foot runs (limited availability, reservations are first come first served).
